Betting Exchange — Back and Lay
On an exchange you can participate in two ways: BACK (I think they will win) or LAY (I think they will not win).
BACK Team A at decimal 2.00, ৳500 stake:
- If Team A wins → ৳500 profit after commission
- If Team A does not win → ৳500 lost
If you LAY (৳500 backer's stake): liability ৳500.
- If Team A does not win → ৳500 profit after commission
- If Team A wins → ৳500 to pay out
Bet Slip — Single and Multi Bet
Clicking on any market automatically adds it to the bet slip. Enter your stake there and you will see the potential return on screen. One selection is a single bet; adding multiple selections makes it a multi bet or accumulator.
In a multi bet, the odds of all selections are multiplied — so the potential return increases, but if even one selection is wrong the entire stake is lost. See the example below: three selections with odds of 1.70, 1.80 and 1.90.
